Icon the Resurrection of Christ
The resurrection of Jesus is the Christian belief that Jesus Christ miraculously returned to life on the Sunday following the Friday on which he was executed by crucifixion. It is the central tenet of Christian faith and theology and part of the Nicene Creed: "On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures"
The icon was made in Sofrino church factory, this is in Moscow region.
Image of the icon is made with high-quality polygraph with double layers of metallography printing. It is pasted to the thin (3 mm) MDF plate basis.
The icon was consecrated by the provost of the Russian Orthodox church of St.Seraphim in Sofrino village.
