Telnyashka
Telnyashka is a part of uniform of Russian (in past Soviet) Navy and some other military troops. Regular marine telnyashka has white and dark blue stripes about 1 cm high. Telnyashka literally means "body shirt" and indeed this is very comfortable cloth, it can be long-sleeves and without sleeves. Initially there were telnyashkas of three different colors: dark blue strips - Navy troops, black stripes - Naval Infantry (marines) and bright blue strips - Airborne Forces (VDV). In all times wearing of telnyashka was an object of proud - this military strip undershirt means belonging to elite troops so soldiers and officer who left military service continue to wear telnyashka. Partly this is because telnyashka is very comfortable and durable in wearing cloth
