5 pieces set, size 4 cm/1-2/3"

Matryoshka Winnie-the-Pooh is only 4 cm/1-2/3" tall but the set consists of 5 pieces, the smallest doll about few millimeters tall, this is very hard to make such small wooden form with very thin walls. As well it was hard to paint such small nesting dolls with small details.

This nesting doll describes famous Soviet animated "Adventures of Wiinit-the-Pooh" (1969) by Fyodor Khitruk on motives of stories written by Miln. Created between 1969 and 1972, Khitruk’s three films star a bear named “Vinni-Pukh” who looks nothing like the Winnie the Pooh that Westerners grew up with. But viewers will certainly recognize the storyline and spirit of the original Pooh in the Soviet adaptations. For decades, these films have enchanted East European viewers, both young and old. And they still occasionally appear on Russian TV.

The nesting doll was painted with tempera paints and finished with glossy lacquer
